Auction for 20 Inch Sirupati on Bladeforums Auction Page

I happened upon the bladeforums auction page, and saw that there wasn't very much participation there. So, to give the auctions a jump start, I placed one of our new 20 inch sirupatis up for auction there. The catch? The winner will get a "free" 15 inch sirupati to match! The whole package is worth about $170.00, but I started the bidding at $40.00. Also, I DIDNT mention the free 15 inch sirupati on the auction - that's just for anybody who happens to read this post

Well, Craig, I've done my part. Though I was not particularly interested in that style khuk, I checked it out -- just out of idle curiosity -- and when I saw the picture I couldn't resist bidding on it.

Steven: you are quite the guy!

The reason I put this on the auction block was to help the auction part of the bladeforums site get some more attention. I think it'd be great if bladeforums auction replaced ebay as "knife auction central." I'm building a site for German Daggers (which I collect) that I hope to do the same thing with.
