Where's all the enthusiasm for the BOTM? Here it is the 19th and no "where's it..." threads?

Pure speculation here; but I'm thinking it's an ebony handled bread knife / slicer like the Chef knife earlier! Signe me up!!

Anyone else have a guess? Be more specific than just the model number.

I hope it’s another lucite handle buck. Or maybe a fancy small 525 series buck. Last month was my first and only buck of the month.

112 Maybe?..................
Edit; Told Ya!

If you keep guessing that you'll eventually get it right.:p:D:D. I don't have a guess, I blew the knife money I had saved up for my b-day on some nice stuff at the beginning of the month (ebony 110, Cherrywood 212 + sheath from Makael and a Artisan Cutlery Fulcrum) so my broke ass won't be buying anytime soon.:(:D:D BUTTTTT I hope they do something that's wild.

Lets start a "share the cool Buck" membership.

You get to have a really cool Buck, take some pics, slice an apple maybe, then rather than put it back in the box and store it away you send it on to the next guy.
And you get another in the mail......

Mike can start. I' ll take the bocata and paua shell 124..... thanks.

He's a nice guy. I'm sure he'll love the idea!_:D

I'd be up for a nice 503...maybe in burlap micarta/CPM154, or green micarta/s35vn.
Make it buckeye burl/s30v, and I'll order a matching 501 from the custom shop (assuming I'm able to get the 503 before it's sold out)

Agreed. Any one of these 503 combinations would be excellent! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there's ever been a 503 produced using any of the those steels.

Also, I would like to see Buck mix up the starting times for the BOTM - either try the evening hours or a weekend sometime. Jeff H. are you listening? The vast majority of the the BOTM's have been sold out before I ever see the email, upon returning home from my 8-5 job.

I have no idea...I just want an atypical 501/503 pair. The first two are 501s I have, the third is the one I would do from the custom shop.

My fear is it will be something I’ld want but they’re gone by the time I see the email. It’s never what I’ld call a “ deal “ but they sure go quick. A couple hours tops.

I really think it's a good idea to send the email out on a Thursday or Friday evening. Then it can be bought on the website and folks can call in the morning. Not all sell out in a few hours but the reasonably priced, popular models go fast.
