Just for kicks:
Put a bit of a severe edge on this R2 just to see what I can get away with the AUS-8. It blazed through light tasks today. I went to quarter my apply and it went through the paper plate into my desk... Nothing to see here, please move along...
Still clean slicing through paper. I don't use knives to do things that would obviously ruin edges like dig out grout or other such what I consider nonsense. So I'm thinking this edge is going to just keep on slicing through things for a long time.
They really need to make budget versions of the R1.5 already because the small size is really my only complaint about this knife. It's just a tiny bit small.
