It looks like the 2015 upgraded steel versions that are really expensive are the XL versions.

I saw the G10 XL (7.5-inch) Espada with CTS-XHP and DLC-coating for almost $250!

And this was from a dealer that sells Cold Steel for 45% off the MSRP.

Got my Voyager today and I must say it is one hell of a knife, especially at this price. I cant imagine a nicer knife for less than $40. I am just sorry I never picked up one before this.

I can't remember what I picked up cheap.....Hold out one, XL serrated Vaquero, Recon Tanto. To me these were back burners that would be fun to have, maybe, not a real priority. When they got discounted it was too good to miss. I also grabbed a Marauder during this mini splurge. I feel satiated at the moment and on the fence about a city stick. We'll see. After a while buying stuff is just a lark\toys. To be honest I could probably just go through the rest of my life with my ESEE 4 and 6, but then how interesting would that be. And to be honest. If I didn't have the ESEE's, I'd go for the AK-47 field knife etc. And I might still............. I am currently waiting for some TKC scales to come in for the 4.

I just picked up 3inch Voyager vaquero aus8.What a nice strong blade,for edc,love this blade shape,in my opinion its really good for sd.I tested few vaquero blades in various sizes on old carpet,and this blade shape slashes and stabs really well.Stabs the same as clip point blades ,and that was real surprise.

Yup...terrific for SD, and useful for EDC if you carry a moderate sized, plain edged Vaquero.

I find this blade profile overlooked and it should really get more attention, it is awesome in so many things!

I had the Holdout 1 for years and years. As far as I'm concerned it's a classic.

This year I got the Large Espada at clearance price. Great knife, I want an XHP model once I can afford it (and they come out).

I just ordered a Hold Out 1 (XL), plain edge, for 79.99 (plus 10.00 for shipping) from Special Projects. Have no idea if this is good or not. I'm happy I bought it though; looking forward to receiving it.
