Austin Goldman: Very professional, excellent communication, and he does amazing custom work! 
I contacted Austin a few months ago (I've been meaning to post this review for quite sometime), inquiring about him making a custom skinner for my best friend, who's an avid outdoorsman/cattle rancher up in the high country of Idaho.
After a couple of very lengthy phone conversations, we came up with a plan and a time frame, which he followed to a T.
Austin, gave me a variety of blade lengths, steel types, sheaths and handle materials to choose from. We agreed on using a S30VN 4 3/4" blade with green/black textured green handles, along with a custom leather sheath. He had to send this out and had this heat treated- I can't remember exactly, but I let him used his knowledge and judgment to make the call.
From start to finish, this project took just a little longer than 2 months for him to complete. He mailed the Skinner up to my friend in Idaho, who was beyond ecstatic! He carries/uses this knife daily.
