Seems just a few weeks ago I posted a thread about places to practice survival skills. I listed a couple places that I wanted to visit in my lifetime, for the outdoors, Australia is one of them. I leave Nov. 17th.:)

You lucky dog. Have a safe trip. You bacpacking? Where at, the outback? Dude thats one place I would like to go.
 
I was there in the mid 60's. Really had a good time. A little R&R break from Naum.
 
that trip should be incredible .... please post lotsa pics.
watch out for those crocs mate.

How long are you here for?

As there's diversity of environments, from coastal rain forrests and reefs to inland deserts, what were you wanting to see while your here?

Are you interested in seeing some posts (with lots of pics) of trips I've done to a few of the environments Oz has to offer, including the tropical north / Great Barrier reef and Tasmania?
