Hi Valknut,

Ringed Gidgee is the 3rd hardest timber in the world, according to The Wood Data Base, and ours is very dense and very dry. Some people do stabilize, most don't.

Your exchange rate is pretty good at the moment so a $30AUS block will cost you only $23US. Postage is calculated on weight and the more you buy, the cheaper it gets. Even with postage, it will cost a whole lot less than KOA.
