For less than $200

What are your opinions?
My wife wants to get me one for my B-day

I have a Garmin c330 I think , I have had it a couple of years, here is a bit of info, 1. Search online, the model I have was about $275.00 at walmart and walmart was about $100.00 dollars cheaper than the sporting goods stores in the same area for the same model, I talked with my wife and she found a website that I got it for $150.00 so shop around, yes you can get a good one for less than $200.00 bucks. 2. You will have to update the software or maps everyone year or so if you want to stay up to date.
3. They are worth every penny, Mine has paid for itself over and over again, just used it again tonight, all you need is an address then you plug it in and hit go! GPS is a true wonder tool for the modern man!!!!!!!

I have the Garmin Nuvi 270. I bought it from Costco for $199 a few months ago. I see them offered for less then $150 now. We used it on our trip to Canada and it worked well about 95% of the time. If you make a wrong turn (I do that a lot :o) it may make an error, but if you play with it, it will get you where you want to go.

It's nice if you have a co-pilot to read the screen with the audio off. The voice drives me nuts.

I use one everyday, the Garmin Nuvi 260 can be had for under 200. One important feature, text to speech, spoken street names. Always a good idea to know which street you are being directed to turn onto if you have a few close together.
