Auto Knife Help

Bought a large Auto from Italy and it won't stay closed now. Any suggestions? Don't want to send it back!

Clean the locking hole out. Often there is polishing compound dried in the hole.

Maybe scrub it good with a toothbrush under warm running water? Oil after you dry it.
