just purchased this knife and love it.The grip feels awesome the blade has a nice 4 inch belly blade and not to mention the pocket clip makes the knife sit very low in the pocket like a sog.It also has a glass breaker and comes with a tool to adjust the tension of the blade.Payed 65 bucks and feel it was well worth it.

Here you go.

I bought one recently, and for the money it's a hell of a knife.

:)

Could one of you guys whip out a ruler and tell me how thick the liners are on these things? Thanks in advance.

Sounds good. I actually dig linerlocks, but I hate skinny, flexy liners. Thanks.

Clip is also reversable for lefties with the tool that the knife comes with. All you have to do is take the glass breaker off first. Also it can only be carried tip up which is the way i cary any way.The frn handle has descent grip also. And the blade steel is 440C.

I guess i should'nt say a wave system but the the metal that sticks up as the ramp is enough to work as one.

I have this knife for more than 1 year. Usualy I carry it when I ride my bike because even is a big knife it has a slim profile for it size. I can't imagine how you wave it, even in that pic ( which is an official drawing from the Boker site ) one can see that the angle is more than 90 degree. Maybe you made some mod ?

When you draw it out of your pocket you have have to have it horozontily and a slight angle out its not hard to do at all.

Mine has no blade play, seems to be strong enough. And don't forget that you have an additional finger protection, the guard/flipper.

I own the black version and love it. But I've just never heard if anyone has bothered to test the linerlock. I'm generally skeptical of linerlocks but this one appears strong.

I have the plain edged silver and to me the linerlock seems to have the strength and width of the zt 0200 and 0400 which are also liner locks. The lock on mine goes right in the middle after lock up.Also mine has an very solid lockup back and forth ,but side to side depends on how you have it adjusted.I have mine set to have no play side to side but still opens smooth and fast. But I'll do a weight test on the blade and post back.

Well I did a weight test on the linerlock! What I did was used a very strong but some what thin hemp rope and made a small loop. Then I put a 50 pound weight tied at the other end. Then I put the blade in the loop resting on the spine an lifted it.It held up very well. Then I wen up 20 pounds more until I got to 130 pounds and still held up fine.So I think the liner lock is definitly worthy.Thanx for the idea Wayne1961 and hope that helps.

metalgear101: Many thanks! My confidence in this blade is now confirmed! My "knife IQ" is still in the mediocre stage so I still look to pros for testing and advice. Thanks again!
