Hi,
I was put onto this site by some of the guys at TPI, and I must say it looks like a good thing we have going here.
I am a big fan of Case folding knives, and I would say that they are top-notch quality as well as being nostalgic and very nice. I also like old-fashioned switchblades, and recently I discovered the Case Automatic Copperlock. I thought (and still do think) that this is the ideal knife, but I was a little discouraged, to say the least, by the $550.00 price tag on these knives
. I got around to wondering if I could just get a regular Copperlock (or any other model for that matter) and just have it converted to an automatic by someone else.
Is there anybody here that could do such work? If so, how would the knife compare to a factory aoutomatic and what would be the ballpark price for work done?
