Hi there,

I bought an automatic-reversing tapping head before I really understood the mechanics of the thing.

It's really best suited for a drill press or manual mill (with a quill). I've used it six or seven times, but ended up getting a standard tension/compression tapping head. It's much quicker to write code for.

Anyway, if you want it, I'm looking for $150 or best offer. Paid $210 originally. Comes with all necessities (original wrenches, 1/8" collet, 1/4" collet, brake rod). The arbor (JT6 to straight 3/4) is included on request.

Free shipping (USPS Priority) in the USA only. Paypal is preferred but I can work with other methods, just let me know.

From what I can tell, it is the same, or extremely similar to this model in function and appearance:

Will it work in a drill chuck without a special arbor? Unfortunately my mill is set up for R8 so I can't use the JT6.

If I can mount it without an arbor in my drill press or a standard chuck on my mill, I'm interested.

I should have specified, JT6 taper is what fits into the tapping head; you would just need a 3/4" R8 collet to use this in your mill
