autumn/halloween traditionals

My favorite time of year is coming up; Halloween specifically but also autumn and deer season. The problem is that since I now live in southern Florida I miss all of the seasonal changes. It just gets a little less hot and all the leaves make the leap from green directly to dead brown. I want to pick up an autumn/Halloween inspired traditional EDC to get me in the holiday mindset. Something in pumpkin orange scales or similar colors would be fantastic. I'm not interested in the Case Halloween knives (serrated main blades ruin it for me). I was hoping GEC would come out with some handle materials that were autumn-inspired but I haven't seen anything. Maybe I just missed it or am looking in the wrong place. I'm inclined toward hunting related patterns and 1095/CV but I'll take what I can get at this point. Any suggestions would really help me out.

How about these 3 from GEC? First is a Pumpkin Patch acrylic #66 JackThe last 2 are #73 "Scout" trappers with "Burnt Orange Bone" scales (3 3/4" closed).

Another option if you can find one is a #72 Lockback with Burnt Orange bone scales

Can't really speak to the Halloween state of mind, but as for Autumn and deer season what came to mind first for me is a nice warm Burnt Stag.

If that doesn't do it, maybe a Smooth Chestnut Bone?

For what its worth, I was born and raised in Michigan. Autumn colors and fall traditions run pretty deep for most here. October 1st marks the beginning of bow season for Whitetail, Apple cider mills and the crunch of fallen leaves underfoot. The time to head out of the city, into the country to visit the pumpkin farm and apple orchard.

The first knife that came to mind for me was the Case Trapper in Autumn Barnboard.

indian paintbrush #73 of 2011, awesome!
all steel, polished blades, stamped logo, great pull (no breaker!)

Some great suggestions so far, thank you guys. Comoha, what's your opinion on that Queen Dan Burke? It looks great but any complaints?

When I think of fall colors these two from Case come to mind. The t'pick is Autumn Barnboard and the trapper is harvest orange. Another GEC acrylic that bears mention is fall harvest.

A nice large knife like this Case Copperlock I have on the way will make a good pumpkin carver and is just right for fall trekking in the woods and hunting.

Here's one for you, a Tidioute #53 pattern Cuban stockman in carved pumpkin bone.

These two shots were both taken this morning in front of the bay window in my living room, one in direct sunlight, one out of the direct light.
Interesting how different the bone looks in the different lighting.

If you just have to have CV the x-large stockman, plenty to choose from in this bone....

I'm wondering about, and much anticapating my full first TX fall as well, and my favorite time of the year too, especially Thanksgiving! Man that pupkin bone 53 is just wow!

That is an insanely good looking knife!

onebagnomad, as a south Florida native, I insist you get this one and put it to use immediately cleaning quail, brim and specks!

Here are some Copperlocks, big and small. These remind me of fall (except for the pearl one on the right):

Ed J, that big yellerish copperlock is the nuts. I like how the long pull goes right to the plunge-- not too long or short. It's also got the smaller center pin, which I prefer. Nice shot.
