Nice pics as usual, but damn mow I'm hungry again
Great stuff as always buddy !
I thought the little Cornish hen was a big chicken when I saw it in the first pan pic, when I saw it again next to the army cup I thought WTH....LOL !!!!
Oh like the eatin tool as well, been wanting to try one out to replace my old hobo in my lunchbox at work
That looks good.
There is a Hickory tree in my back yard that gives a good crop every year. They are quite tasty, but they sure are a lot of work to get any quantity of meat.
Thanks Mist and Rock. When you explain like that, it makes it seam pretty useful.
Enjoy brother:thumbup:

Yeah, Hickory nuts taste good but work you to death, I much prefer the Black walnut we have so many of here. I think they taste as good and are much easier to shell...I don't see how squirrels deal with Hickory nuts lol.
But deal with them they do. I have a couple other Hickory trees (different species) next to the driveway. The squirrels hit them hard. They like one of them in the late summer while the husks are still green, and the other one now. You can stand outside and listen to the constant (and I mean constant) stream of shell shards dropping down through the tree. It sounds like rain. The early one is above where a car gets parked, and we have to brush off debris every time we go to drive it. The other just leaves a large mess on the driveway. In both cases attempting to walk barefoot through there is very painful.
