Thanks for looking!

The butt decoration is a slice of 1" diameter copper pipe with a cable inside, with the empty spaces filled in in transparent resin.

The knife is a hidden tang (almost full handle) but is compressed, not like the decoration :)

That is just so great. I would love to know how you do that. Fantastic looking knife. One of my favorites.

Hello Ariel,
I find this one of your most appealing knives. I have a few questions:

Are any of the cut strand ends loose or is the Entire blade welded solid?
If bent, would the blade break apart into pieces or act as solid steel?

What kind of payments do you accept?

Thank you for showing your remarkable work,

Hank

Hank,

Nothing is loose, all strands are welded against others.

What you see on the sides as the strands layout is superficial, from the bolster to the tip, the steel from the strands in the core of the blade is a solid piece (about 4mm thick)

If you bend it enough to break it, it'll break in two like a regular knife.

I take Cashier/Bank Checks, International Money Orders and Money Transfers from Western Union, MoneyGram and Safe Money.

Right now I'm waiting confirmation of a previous customer to see if he's taking this knife or not.

Thanks :)

To clarify a bit more :)

Here you can see how it's all welded properly:

The only difference between these two knives is that this last one didn't get acid etched on the bevels.

I have a couple of similar blades in the works, I might take requests for type of handle/bolsters. If you're interested, drop me a line :)
