Mist, have the blades on the Bushfingers gotten a bit shorter? Your's looks longer than most pictures of current versions...

I cant remember if that was one of the design changes but I do remember Andy making some changes to it after he made Mists knife.

If I remember right the over-all length stayed the same but the handle is a bit longer and the blade is a bit shorter on the final design.

I'm sure I could be persuaded to trade it for a Recluse that matches my Hiking Buddy, if he ever makes one. :whistles innocently:

That way Alayna and I would have matching bushcraft knives when she gets a little older :)

But that's only open to you. Because you have been bugging me about it so long :p

LOL, no worries bro! Just thought I'd offer a way, and yes the offer stands but as I said only for for you. I think you're the only one who may actually like it as much as I do :)
 
I think there are enough of us that want that knife that we could start a stalkers club!
 
Wow, I had no idea. Lol, now I don't know whether I should be worried when I go hiking or if i should just remember this if I ever run across a good cause to raise money for :)
 
They're the same dimensions length wise, both blade and handle. The difference is width spine to edge of both handle and blade. Wider on the current model.
 
That would account for the perception of looking longer than the current model. I'd just be happy to have any of them!

Hmmm, do you have a Recluse you want to do a temporary swap with for a bit? That way I could get a chance to test one out in the field (don't worry, I won't be my usual self, I won't risk killing it and losing my Bushfinger) and see how I like it. I was hoping Andy might have one at Blade, but he didn't and I was fortunate enough to score another knife I like very much. I've still got it in my head that I want a Recluse but I'd like the chance to use one in the bush for a bit. Anyway, just a thought since you brought up the stalking.
