Avalanche

In he past I have seen some posts criticizing the edge holding ability of Kershaw knives with 440V blades.Is there someone who has had any experience with the Avalanche, and is famaliar with the edge holding ability of this knife?

I recently traded for an Avalanche. WOuld also be interested in any experience folks have. I really like the knife. Only thing I'd change is to have a PE blade, instead of combo. So far, it seems to me to be a very well made knife. I much prefer the opening action on it, to that of the Whirlwind I also own.

One thing -- the G-10 handles are the grippiest of that material that I've handled. I love it.
