Here is a fantasy knife I came up with recently. It is based on a knife from the movie Avatar. There was little shown in the movie but this is roughly based on the knife the character Jake Sully used after getting separated from his friends by being chased by a huge cat like creature. Basically the concept is a Field Utility Knife for Marines on some distant planet. Kinda funky in style but overall a basic Bowie. This is 14in overall with an 8 5/8in blade. Weighs in at 20oz. I made it from 1/4in thick 5160 with black G10 scales. The blade is 1 3/4in wide. Sheath is black Kydex set up for a large size Tek Lok(not included). I think it looks great, and useful. I could see landing on a distant planet with that on my hip, or a walking dead episode...
