I really do appreciate all of the input.
I am sure that I am just being paranoid over lock wear.
I just got a Sebenza so I will now get a chance to see what "it" can do.

JoHnYKwSt, thanks. I started out trying to make several points, but never quite got to it, but you pointed out the important ones that I didn't mention. True, weight savings on material differences would be negligible at best, so the decision should come down to the best material for the proposed job.

As for the frequent opening of your Sebenza and the lock wearing out, heck, it's a Sebenza, so I'm certainly not holding my breath. That's one bet I'm not going to take.
