I've had a horrible experience with Ivo Sturzenegger from Polizeibedarf!
I ordered a Microtech Socom Elite Spearpoint from Polizeibedarf on May 7th.
The knife was listed as in stock, and I paid €385 / $420 for the knife + DHL shipping immediately.
A few minutes later, I receive an email that the knife isn't in stock.
Ok, that can happen.
I ask for a refund, but Ivo replies that he might be able to find one at Blade show.
Ok, fair enough, I want one after all.
Fast forward to June 11th;
I receive a message that he's found one, and it will be shipped the same week.
Three days later, on June 14th, I receive an email that I haven't paid back in May according to him.
I send an email with a screenshot of the payment, and he acknowledges that I DID pay.
June 18th;
I receive the tracking details for a package.
July 1st;
The package is still stuck at "Picked up at the drop off point" and I am getting a bit worried.
I contacted DHL, and they state only the seller can start an investigation so I sent Ivo a message about this and ask him to start one, no response.
July 12th;
The package still hasn't moved.
I ask Ivo to start an investigation once more.
July 13th;
I receive an email from Ivo, he's started an investigation and hopes to get an answer next week.
August 9th;
I asked for an update, no response.
August 26th;
I asked for another update, no response.
September 24th;
I asked once more how we are going to resolve this, no response.
September 27th;
I've sent one last email, asking for a refund, no response nor refund.
I have been more than patient and friendly, and have given him the benefit of the doubt multiple times.
Now I have had enough of it, I would recommend everyone to avoid this horrendous shop at all costs, which STILL lists the knife as in stock!
The owner takes zero responsibility and absolutely doesn’t do anything to try and make things right!
