This is udderly bs and will shed some light for those who seek it. I purchased a piece of 1/4" flatstock D2 steel 12x 4" from a local steel shed. I cut out the WSK shape that I had modded to my liking and had been in contact with Tim for some time. Almost two years ago now I shipped that steel to him only wanting the teeth and grinding done that is all. I wanted to do the handles I couldve even sent it out for hardening. He told me 6 months.
Time and time again he has told me Its almost done, In January he told me it was finished just needed to ship it. Lie. Ive come to find out today only the grinding was finished. For something that only wouldve taken anyone a week at most to complete it has taken Tim Horan almost two years. Im not asking for a complete knife only grind work. Really?? Two @#$**** years!!! Then he tells me its too much trouble with me badgering him everyweek trying to get a response to work for free. Not realising I PAID HIM OVER A YEAR AGO!!! I STILL HAVE THE RECIEPT FROM PAYPAL! Then he said he was going to "surprise' me by completeing the knife handles and all sometime in the summer. That I had two options, either wait til it was completely finished and done sometime this summer as long as he didnt hear another "peep" from me (which was not what we had discussed) OR send it as it is with just the grinds done and not the teeth. Tim, I want it now.
Now for those getting lied to.. Im in the military . So the crap about service members being served first? Is just that another BS excuse to buy him time so he can rob you of your property. Im so pissed Ive kept every email and text so i have record of all of the lies.
Im supposed to see my knife back thursday or friday this week. i live in Iowa so shipping it Fed Ex ground Ill see it the following day since he lives in Illinois. I will be keeping touch and updating all of you
Legal action is underway for theft, and internet fraud.
