I'm heading out Saturday around 4am to meet up with Marty, Aggie, Akabu, Tallquietman and some other folks for a fall canoeing trip on Little Square Pond in the Adirondacks. I'll make sure to take some pictures and post them ASAP.

In my absence, keep an eye out on the forum for anything that isn't kosher. I'll catch up with you guys on Sunday night.

Sounds like it will be a great trip. Perfect time of year, too. Not cold enough to make things uncomfortable, but cold enough to make you put just a little bit of extra effort into paddling.

Looking forward to the pics. Have a good one!

All the best,

- Mike

Kev, have a great time

I so wish I could join you but have to help my wife on a shoot on Saturday :grumpy:

Awesome! Fall and winter canoe is my favorite time to be out. I've got New Years 3 day float trip planned that I'm really excited about. Be safe and enjoy creation.

Fall in the Adirondacks is so beautiful. No bugs, cold nights, a lot more solitude compared to the summer months. I'm looking forward to the pics.

I'm back, my gear is drying and I'm ready for some ZZZ's ZZZ's. All of your well wishes must have paid off in great times except for some annoying rain. I don't mind cold or wet but put them together and it can be a little uncomfortable. Luckily, we cut plenty of wood and sawed it into small pieces. Between that, standing by the fire and eating massive amounts of food, we dried out quickly. Too bad I had to cut the trip short because of work tomorrow.

Pics will come soon.

Have a blast Kev.

Send my regards to the crew over there and give Aggie a hug for me, oh hell give Marty a hug also.

tony, you're a bit late ;)...kev is already back...read his most recent post in this thread...
