Hey everyone,

I'll be mostly offline tomorrow through sometime next week. Off to practice skills and share a campfire with some friends in upstate NY. May extend my trip through Feb 18 to make it up to Marty Simon's gathering (see sticky), but still unsure. If I don't get up to Marty's, I should be back online by next Tuesday. I'll try to get into town over the weekend and check in online at the local library, but that depends on snow, etc. We're hoping for heavy snow, so we can make snowshoes and practice primitive firemaking skills, and other things, under adverse conditions. Will try to photograph and/or videotape our efforts to post here. Brett, the new member I introduced you to here, will be there, too.

I'll be online today and tonight, but leaving first light tomorrow.

Remember..... pictures = warm fuzzy members..... no pictures = sobbing in the fetal position members.;):D

Have a safe and wonderful trip. Look forward to the pictures (I won't sob in the fetal position if you don't have any though).

Looks like it be snow, subzero, snow, subzero. We may have to leave our cars 1/2 mile away and trudge through a few feet of snow to our site. It'll be nasty...

...just the way I love it!!!! :D
 
As mentioned, take lotsa pix please. If not, we can make your job as a mod much tougher.:D;)

Looking forward to trying my hand at a pair of snowshoes as well.
