Gotta love this thing cheap and works like a dream. I built the stand and the work rest and have cut so much.I use to use a chop saw and wore out many belts before this was added to my shop arsonal it's a must have for the knife maker and any shop that cuts metal.Anybody else hAve one I wanna see??

wow i like it , i'm getting one! Nice bed frame. What are the chance of seeing a picture of the other side of the saw?

You will love it, its variable speed And cuts great it's my go to. I love tools and this is really the best I bought the saw used off eBay for little of nothing and built the stand from some scrap 2" square tubing and some 8" tie plates for the base and work rest. You can't cut really sharp turns but if you've used a wood band saw you will quickly pick up on relief cuts to make this thing really preform.

that's great i have a wood band saw and a scroll saw for smaller stuff or tighter turns but I've been looking for something to cut steel ... brass and stainless mostly. I always used to pass this in the canadian tire isle but never gave it a second thought. Variable speed , that's a double whammy. It's nice that's it's small and also seems easily portable and takes up little room in a shop.

Very cool, I did the same thing with a black and decker porta ban, I'll share some pics a little later.

I think you'll be happier if you add a support leg to the table. It will really stiffen things up and make a great saw even better.

I have a similar Dewalt saw with a Swag table. Very Very Very handy tool.

Horsewright I even use mine to cut out sheath leather! That was always my least favorite thing to do. Works like a charm if you run a sacrificial board (mdf or something ) halfway through so there is no hole underneath the work piece.

I like the added switch on there but not sure about having the front cover removed.
I have a power fist model that is pushing 6 years old now.. the rubber on the wheels is gone and I cant get bi metal blades for it anymore, I may have to break down and get a new saw.

Oh, I see it going through a hole. I'm wondering if that hole was for a front handle that was removed perhaps? And also if there is another attachment at the bottom

Yes just remove handle and run a bolt through it and towards the bottom is a small welded on bracket that attaches to the saw also by a smaller screw it's very sturdy

Goes through hard woods, Micarta,g10,aluminum,brass, nickel like nobody's business and saves my wood bandsaw blades also

I'm using the Milwaukee model on a Swag Off Road table with a Foot Pedal from harbor freight that you can use to adjust speed a very nice addition leaves hands free and no other switch required.
