I've had this one for a while and it'll be tough to give up, but I'm clearing house to fund some other projects.
This knife is one of 3 to my knowledge that were made as part of John Etzler's tactical series of folders. This is the largest with a blade that's 4 1/2" long from the tip to the bolster. Closed length is 6".
Features:
BB Titanium bolsters
Thick Titanium liners
Black linen Micarta scales and back spacer
Single thumb stud
Custom made Titanium clip
Polished blade
Agressive checkering on thumb ramp and on the choil
Perfect QC, no gaps in construction, everything blends seamlessly. Glass smooth opening and dead on rock solid lock engagement that's in just the right place with zero play.
Knife has been carried and lightly used. There is some mild scuffing on the bolster and a couple of marks on the clip, none of which goes down to bare metal and are somewhat faint. Also a couple of hairline marks on the blade.
John's knives aren't seen too much, he usually focuses on high end art knives. This one sold for $600 from John, my price is only ***SOLD PP*** $300 shipped. (reduced to $285 shipped!) ***SOLD PP***
Absolutely one of the finest tacticals I have ever owned or seen, satisfaction guaranteed.
