Hi all,
I want to buy a watch, but to give it any wrist time I have to sell one. So... here is my work watch. This was a Seiko Atlas I bought LNIB a couple years ago. It was used and abused, crystal scratched, bracelet scratched, etc. over about a year(ish)
In Feb? I bought a 007 dial and hands from Noah, and replaced the original parts, and sandblasted the case and bracelet at the same time. About a month ago, I replaced the crystal with a slightly thicker generic mineral glass.
Anyway, the watch is great. Great lume, easy to read, bezel is fairly easy to turn, looks good, great bracelet w/ solid end links, etc. The bad news is, it is a work watch. It has lived a rough life, though it still runs fine. TZ 75-80%. A couple of fine marks on the crystal, that are difficult to see, but it has pretty good scratches on the case and bracelet. You should see some in the pics. Since I was the one that did the crystal and dial, there is dust in there, but it isn't bad. One indice has some discoloration. It REALLY doesn't matter on this watch, but you should know....
Oh, and I didn't clean it up for the pics, so you are seeing it in the worst condition possible...ETA: watch runs about 1 min/day slow. I can improve that if you want, or if you are worried about me touching it, I won't.
Cost is Traded shipped and PayPaled to US. I would suggest this to someone who wants an awesome watch they are not afraid to wear, or someone who wants to tinker with one. If you are looking for something to go with a suit, you are probably out of luck.
Also listed on another forum, so time stamp applies.
ETA: I would use this in a part trade(I'll add cash) for another diver. I will be needing a work watch if I sell this...
If you have something rugged that you are looking to sell, let me know what it is. I like: Good lume, heavy bracelets or Zulu, 42mm and bigger. I can put cash with this, or just trade around if we both have the right watch.
Lume shot is 1/8 sec at f3.5 iso 400 after 30ish seconds in sunlight. I only mention this because it doesn't look all that bright in the pic, but you also can't see the second hand sweeping...
