I've got a pretty nice mixed bag of wood blocks and scales for sale. These are all high quality blocks and scales. Natural, not stabilized. These are nice large pieces, solid with no visible defects. Dry and ready to use.

All prices include free shipping to the US. Paypal preferred.

First up, some excellent black walnut scales. These are BIG. Some guys might get two handles per set here. Cut nice and flat with pretty even thickness. Really great colors and feather/crotch figure. Beautiful stuff here.

Next, some African Blackwood. Excellent pieces here. Big and Solid...no visible defects. Nice straight grain...jet black.

Next, two REALLY nice blocks of Amboyna burl. This stuff is hard to find nice pieces like this. I much prefer using amboyna burl natural and not stabilized, but these are priced to send them out if you want. Solid burl eyes, end to end and front to back.

Last, is some outstanding tiger/curly maple. This is eastern hard maple. Really bold interlocking tiger stripe figure. Nice big solid blocks. Curly maple doesn't get a lot better than this.

where's the buckeye John ? Just used the last I had from you , light to darker stuff . It was beautiful wood , cannot afford it right now but thought I would give you the bug .

That looks great Jack! Love the character in that. I should be getting more pretty soon. Got some stabilized/quilted redwood that's really nice coming soon too.
 
Still have some really nice walnut scale sets, two nice curly maple blocks and a great blackwood block left. See original post for up to date available pieces.
