Awesome PAKI knife!!

i recently purchased a two knives from a Knives Store from FB ... now before everyone goes on a tangent i received numerous pics of my knife through the process and have to say that i am quite impressed with the quality of the knife.
The bladesmith states the knife is Damascus steel made with high and low carbon steel (hand forged Dam Steel 11095 & 15n20) and has a hardness of about 60 on this knife .... It has skinned a nice 90 pound pig and did not require sharpening through the whole task and i must say its doing the job .... now having said that, how else do i know if i really got a good knife from a great bladesmith?
