Awesome Satin Jack Variant

What is the age on that Variant, Peter? The handle looks reminiscent of the #32 BATAC variant from a couple 'Ganzaas ago.

This one isn't quite a Jack, but more of a NICK, from Blade 2006:

Oh, and check your email.

OK guys... It is great that everyone on this here forum post pictures. But, pics without stats are like meat without potatoes. :thumbdn:

Please have some common courtesy and mention the blade length and thickness.... dammit! ;):D

Although it is a beautiful Busse … I’m no fan of recurves for users, I think they are to hard to sharpen in the field.
Now grind that out an you got something:thumbup:

That thing's awesome! Is it a LE? I'd friggin hoove stomp for one of dems!!! :D

She's a looker for sure. I would use it. Some other really nice lookers posted here too.

I agree about recurves. They look very nice, but are a bit more difficult to sharpen (if you know your way around a round diamond hone I guess they would not be too bad).

I just spanked the curve out of my SS and convexed the edge for good measure (no pics till the wife returns from exile with the camera.....gone with the whippersnapper for a month till I am done with the bar exam).

I thought I had both LE's. Both have black paper. One is 3/16ths and the other is 1/4".

Flip it over please:thumbup:

I want to see the other side:cool:

I'm also wondering how this is an LE. It's not that I doubt you, but I thought the LEs were numbered and/or had a different logo. The thing is...I have an ABA that has that exact logo on it and nobody seems to have ever seen it before. And so there is some speculation as to whether it is an LE or maybe just a stripped version with the logo applied after the strip job.

The original 3/16th Satin Jack LEs were marked on the reverse side of the blade with the name and serial number. Notice the one on the bottom:

I don't have a picture of this one's opposite side, but I assure you it was marked as an LE. The black paper LE I traded to Heavy was marked the same way (top) and the snakeskin was sterile:
