This was my 5th year in a row at the Bladeshow.. I always have a great time.
Each year it seems I'm into different knives, so the show helps me in experiencing
all the knives I've been interested in and reading about over the last year.
First knife I bought for the day was a Sebenza 21. I went straight to the CRK booth right when I arrived. Within 10 minutes I had the 21... AWESOME knife, I'm so happy!!
Being a Spyderco fan, that was next. I got an Endura 4 Zome... that was on my list too. I planned on checking out the Yojimbo, it looked cool but wasn't practical for me to use... that blade was INSANE!!
Final purchase of the day being a Leatherman Multi-tool... I wanted that for awhile and found one at the last minute from SMKW.
I planned on getting a Benchmade Mini Griptilian... I've tried them out before at Bass Pro, and read a lot online... they seemed cool. However, I changed my mind at the show when checking them over... they just didn't seem to be doing anything for me... didn't feel them click.
Lunch was a greasy burger at Murph's while watching Extreme fighting on the flat-screen.
It was a MANLY day for sure... Knives, meat, and fighting on t.v. (lol)
I also saw two cast members from the show "Naked and Afraid."
I look forward every year to the Bladeshow, it feels exactly like how Christmas felt as a kid, I enjoy myself each time I go... now I'm looking forward to the next!

I popped my Blade Show cherry this weekend. I had to travel home today so I missed Sunday. I grabbed a plain jane Olamic Swish from an ill Eugene on Friday and bought a Liong Mah/Reate GSD Tuxedo direct from the man and got to shake his hand on Saturday. That was the coolest part for me, meeting the people behind the knives. The Busse team and Spyderco people were awesome. I got a cool BladeHQ shirt for wearing the one I had and an opportunity to sign their wall which was awesome.

All in all it was an awesome experience. I need to bring more money next time!

ETA: I brought my non-knife nut fiancé and almost convinced her she needed a WE 704A for he purse. She liked it but in the end I couldn't get her over her hesitation to carry a knife, even if it was purple.

What is Sunday like at Blade?

Sundays are definitely the slowest days of the show. However; this Sunday was much busier than last year. By Sunday all of the custom makers are out, but the production companies are all still there and your dealers (both large and small) don't ever run out of knives to sell.

Were their good prices on knives ? Anything used ?

No, this is not a show for used knives. Dealers will carry used custom knives, but that's only because they are worth a significant amount of money. You might find the occasional company doing a show special on a particular knife, but Blade show is more about showcasing knives.

A good deal of the tables feature used knives... mostly Case collectables, vintage folders etc.
Over the years I've seen many tables selling used Italian switchblades, old boy-scout knives and such
But yeah, a great percentage is booths for the dealers doing a showcase of their products.
I used to go on Sundays, but it's a shorter day, and dealers start packing up early... there's also the
risk of missing out on items selling out on Friday or Saturday. This year I went on Saturday and was glad
I did because I bought the last Sebenza 21 they had at the Chris Reeve booth.

That was a ROUGH day but magically I was back to (mostly) normal by Saturday afternoon... the rush on friday was a bit crazy and I didn't get a chance to make notes of everyone who got a knife, so please DM me so I can send you a bead and add you to the owners club... if you're not there already.
