Mike, I'm so glad you're on board.

Hey Guys, Mike and I are working on some very exciting new projects. This was a big reason why we decided to have this subforum. In the next few weeks, Mike will have several new designs he's doing as mid-techs. I'm also trying to work on a design that will be a fixed blade. I'm sure down the line we will come up with collaborations as well. Mid-tech runs will be done small. Probably less than 25 at a time of a particular design. If the demand is more, then we'll do second, third runs and so on.

Of course we will still be doing custom knives. We just want to offer these mid-techs as lower priced alternatives to customs. As custom knifemakers, there is a limit to how many knives we can produce in our shops with our own hands. The only way to be more productive is to outsource some of the work that go into these knives. This is where we get mid-tech knives. From a user's perspective, they are every bit as good in quality. They do everything just as well as their custom counterparts..

Sounds fantastic! I really love the knife you made for me a few years ago. I hate to say that I baby it because it's so beautiful. Maybe I'd be more willing to use one of your mid-tech blades with less guilt.

What price range are you guys shooting for? Just a ballpark would be great.

I'll keep checking back from time to time.

Psst...a bushcrafter like you made for Tal a while back would be another fantastic design. Just sayin'.:D
