axe blanks

I am going to attempt to make my first hand axe. Essentially I am just looking for something that I can slap a handle on. My problem is that I am having real trouble finding an axe blank. I have found only 1 at jantz supply, but am not too thrilled with the design of it. Any suggestions on where to look? Any help is much appreciated.
