Dear people,

Has anyone ever customised their tomahawk cover in concealex or kydex? I am very keen in procuring this classic tool. The humid and warm conditions in Malaysia is highly unsuitable for leather sheaths as it is prone to damage and deterioration by moisture and constant heat.. Your advise is much appreciated

Concealex does offer better thresholds of heat and cold temperatures before the thermoplastic undergoes a shape change.

Our Vietnam Tomahawk sports a 1000 Denier Cordura Sheath with synthetic liner, which should perform well in your country.

Synthetic sheaths for the Ranger Series are possible, but need to be made one at a time and form fitted to each Hawk, as they are hand forged and have slight variation in dimension head to head. As the tolerances for a hot molded thermoplastic are so tight, batching them to a template Hawk would not create a premium fit for each and every head.

If you want a custom concealex sheath for a Ranger Hawk, get with me off line and we'll come up with something!
