Wow that is wild! It's definitely a knife a la the Tom Brown Tracker knife by Tops, but it's very creative. Very cool design.
 
Wow! That is very creative! Good job thinking outside the box! In practice though I have a few concerns. It looks like there are a lot of sharp transitions/stress risers that I would be concerned about, especially at that hardness. Also is the weight far enough forward to chop well? With the increase in thickness necessary to get the weight out front to chop well will it cut and pierce well enough to use as a knife? Its a great design, thanks for sharing with us.
 
Can't judge its effectiveness, but there's some serious outside-the-box thinkin' goin' on there.
