I was going to spray paint my new Cold Steel Axe Gang Hatchet after I mod it (like the one I gave my friend), but after seeing your pic, I have decided patina is the way to go!

Shortened handle, shrunk poll, rounded edges (other than the business end of course) sanded and ready for patina and handle wax. Will add some grip tape after as well.

In search of materials to make a decent sling I found this leather and it is cloth lined on one side and wherever i position it on my shoulder it stays there, don’t slide up until it hits the side of my neck. Also nixed the snap strap on the kydex, tension is sufficient for anything short of parachuting and having it “grab and go” ready is more practical for something tactical.Gave the leather some character yesterday.

My edge cover for the Ragnarok 12 just arrived, tracking shows the 12 should be here tomorrow. The Feather arrived today,had to nix the leather strap in flavor of the one I installed with a pull the dot and synthetic no stretch material.

Just got this one today, Tracker Dan GreyMatter. Put some D rings on it, doubled the quick release cord and adjusted it. It’s ready for carry now.

The low moc straps were causing interference with the disengagement of the shock cord quick release so I had to do a mod this morning. Carries like a shoulder holster now if you shorten the strap, hawk handle above the waist line. Quick release now works every time nice and fast, no hangups.

Just got this shock’n awe in today. Had to ditch the lanyard so this is throwable and it is plenty sharp,I didn’t need to touch the edge. It slices a thin rice paper, so it’s good to go. Nice kydex, just the right amount of retention. Easy fast draw, has tech clip. Comparison pic with the Rune. The handle cover makes it grippy. These are nice lil spike hawks for the money. Also the Rune I highly recommend. Looking for the 2014 Little Bird, I’ll pay well for one, priced to match condition.
