there's been, to my eye, more use of axes in movies in the last few years...

i guess all that Rambo stuff has evolved

we have the fancy axes of Hobbit and LOTR

and lately with Hunger Games, there Johanna's axe - pretty fierce...

any favorites?

Hmmm? I don't have a link but the Axe fight in Streets of Fire was pretty cool! That was back in the early 80's

Raven was played by Willian Defoe. The Axes were regular tree fellers.
