Axis Lock Pivot Tension

Do you mind sharing why it's a disappointment to you? This is a common practice with most brands.

I didn t imagine that kind of operation would be a must to do one day.

I thought that the beryllium plates inside my griptilian's axis would be hard enough to endure many many "open-close" during a life

You make me re-consider the fact to buy an expensive Emerson....I am happy with my cheap BM now :cool:
 
Hey Fellas,

I just put the Loctite 242 blue on the pivot, adjusted its tension to perfect and set it aside to cure. I guess I'll update after a few days of use as the pivot was loosening that quick.

I think the advertised cure period can be up to 24 hours, depending on temps, etc. You should be fine - let us know how it works out.
