Just acquired one of these 909s and wanted to give it a thumbs up. Such a comfortable knife.

As an aside, anyone know why Mr. Elishewitz no longer gets credit on these?

No idea why they don't have his name on them. Could be that the design has gone through considerable changes and it's more along the lines of a similar looking knife to what the original was.

Designers sometimes part ways with the production company and their logo goes off the blade even if the knife continues.

I had my eye on a 909 for quite some time.
Incoming. I'll be back.
Thank you Knifecenter and Ben.

You'll like it, at least the way it cuts. The thin, flat ground American tanto slices really well.

Just like the 141 Nimravus...

I'm loving my 908.

Thank you, Gentlemen. And, thanks for the pix.
I just love the Benchmade quality and a lock that gets stronger with use.

Love the look of the 908. How "flickable", or smooth is the action on these? Say, compared to a 710.

Cool thanks. I know the Axis is awesome, but I have heard some models flip open better than others.

Sure. ^
I have not handled that many but all were very smooth to open and close.

Love my 909.
I misplaced it and thought it was gone forever but found it after 3 weeks.

Great news!! ^
That's a Beaut! Thanks for the pic.
I shud have mine tomorrow.

The action on the Stryker is the most balanced of any Benchmade I've tried yet. Really a sweet spot. I bet you dig it.

Thanks, brothah! ^
I was going to get a PS blade but on this BM but I went with PE. On some blades, PE just suits me more.

Dewd... just get another!!

Thought about it tons. They were easy to come by in the pawn shops and surplus stores near Ft. Bragg. They somehow just didn't feel the same, like cheating I suppose? I will someday give up hope and replace it, until then, too many other sharp things to try.
