Axis lock Stryker 909

Let me know what you get.^
Well, my 909 is here and I love it. It won't replace my CQC7 but I love a knife lock that I don't have to worry about wearing out. Another great feature of the Axis lock. All knifesterbaters need to own one Axis lock folder.
Thanks!

Thinking about picking one of these up but don't know if I should get the tanto or drop point.

Nice! I just broke out my ps this week after 2 years on the shelf and started using it for work. Foolishly almost sold it. What a great folder; enjoy Lycosa

Good move, jazub!
I think I finally figured out the knives to keep in rotation.
Thanks.

Just acquired one of these 909s and wanted to give it a thumbs up. Such a comfortable knife.

As an aside, anyone know why Mr. Elishewitz no longer gets credit on these?

See this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/174348-Benchmade-and-Allan-Elishewitz!-What-gives

Per Elishewitz' website at the time:

"September 21st, 2001: On August 13th, 2001, after 6½ years of collaboration, I resigned from the Benchmade design team. I did not believe in their policies and did not wish to follow the company in the direction it was taking. It is a great opportunity for me to work with other manufacturers on new projects. We will keep you posted on new collaborations in the near future!"

Bob Terzuola left Benchmade at the same time.

I have the early Automatic version with the button lock. Excellent knife for about 15 years now. I really like Alan's grinds on this blade, he takes straight grinds to make a curve when viewed from the spine of the blade.
