The 810 has recently replaced my all time favorite 710. I lust after a TSEK.

Favorite is my Doug Ritter full size Griptillian with Orange Wilkins scales. Pretty much my primary EDC for over a year. (If you know how frequently my tastes change, you would be impressed with its ability to keep my attention.) The old 720 was another all time favorite but I was stupid enough to part with it.

Stupid enough to part with it... Yeah that sounds familiar.

That Rift that I mentioned right above, well I had two. One was my very first Benchmade, and the other was an LE forum cf m4 Rift. Now I have the 810 and I carry it daily regardless of my "edc". My 810 isn't an edc knife, it's attached at the hip. I'll never sell or trade it. Ever. ;)

The one knife you'll see on nearly every list is the 710. People may like one or another slightly better. Thats personal preference. However, everyone likes the 710 ( ok almost everybody ) Thats the sign of a damn good knife and design.

For me its probably

710 ( M390 or M4 )
Rift ( Forum with CF / M4 )
Rukus

Gaucho :D I can flick it out faster than my auto Bedlam. From all the Benchmades that I've handled and owned, the axis lock knives are very very similar. Pretty much just pick one that you like and you can't go wrong with it.

The Rift. Although when I think when I get around to buying a Wilkins Ritter Grip, it will be surpassed.

943

Both are perfect at being what they need to be to fill their particular niche.
