Axis locks are a poor design

Now I'm reconsidering my next purchase. I was thinking of a Benchmade Presidio 520sbk. Now I might get the Emerson CQC-15. What do you guys think is better?

this is incorrect. a longer spring does'nt preclude failure .springs break due to metal fatigue.

If I take a thin piece of spring wire 1 inch long and flex it so the end is a half inch off true, it will be strained and fatigued much, much more than a 10" long piece of the same wire flexed a half inch out of line.
