recently trded for a SE ayoob, really like it, gonna carry it as EDC for a while (till my wife confiscates it, she REALLY likes the knife, she has small hands and it is easy for her to open) and see, but i think its gonna work great.

what do you guys think of your ayoobs?? like the PE or SE? i like the SE on this one, i must say. great knife so far, no cons at all, and my first knife of '03!!

Greg,

I'm very pleased that (my "old") Mr. Ayoob has found a GOOD new home with you (and wife Becky!).:). I agree...The Ayoob is a GREAT folder for a woman, or for anyone with small hands, as it has a pretty short opening-arc, and snaps open quickly.

BTW...I don't think that you would recognize your "old" Police model, as I fixed the (slightly miss-sharpened) tip, and polished-out the scratches from the scales...(It is now sitting in the left front pocket of my Levis.).

I recently received my second Ayoob, this one PlainEdged this time. This one won't be going anywhere because it's serialized and came along with a neck rig. :D IMO, it has an excellent grip, although it would be better with a little texture on the non-clip side for when the handle is a little slick. Maybe I'll get around to putting a little grip tape on it this time...

I like my Ayoob although, I should have bought a plain edge instead of a serrated edge.
