Hi!
I present you Azrael. He is a fusion of two of my favourite styles in knifemaking - daggers and curvy, aggresive lines. Definitely one of my best works up to date.
The blade is made of 80CrV2 steel, 1/4" thick. Appleseed cutting edges, light etched finish with subtle polishing on the edges.
The handle is made of mild steel and bog oak. Steel parts are hammered and antiqued by cold bluing. Bog oak has hand carved flutting and is polished to high gloss. The C-shaped pommel is held by internal screw to the tang.
Hand stitched and hand tooled leather sheath with custom peg.
Dimensions: 18 57/64” (48 cm) overall and 12 13/32 ” (31,5 cm) of the blade.
