It says on the back of the holster "made in South Africa", on all my Azula holsters. They are also chromium tanned. I know by the fact that I can't leave a gun in an Azula holster for more than a few hours before it starts to rust. Doesn't happen with any of my Galco, DeSantis, or Craft holsters. Azula has tried to blame my guns, but that wouldn't explain why it only happens with Azulas.

We manufacture our holsters in the USA and South Africa. We only use veg tanned leather. Our South African African leather is veg tanned drum dyed with the color struck through and is some of the finest leather available today for a holster. We have never used chrome tanned leather for any of our holsters and never will. We can not ever recall anyone ever contacting us in regard to their guns rusting in our holsters. We are not aware that we ever were contacted by you in regard to your guns rusting in our holsters and certainly would not have blamed your guns. If there is an issue with your holsters we would be more than happy to replace them and would ask that you contact us at AzulaGunHolsters@gmail.com

I recently purchase an Azula holster for a new 3" Cot Python. I would've made my own, but didn't have a modeling prop for a Colt Python. Not only that, but I didn't want to use the new gun for wet molding, so I searched for an inexpensive leather holster. I came across this Azula L-3 model for the Colt. For the money, it exceeded my expectations. It covers the trigger, but it could come up a little bit higher. I'm of the opinion that it is a very serviceable holster.

I know better than to think that a holster manufacturer would use chrome tanned leather. Do you have any photos of the guns that rusted in a few hours? What about the Azula holsters that you speak of. If so, I'd like to see them.
