My B-10s were "delivered" yesterday. As per usual, the mail carrier didn't ring my buzzer to get a signature, so my precious Choil & Choiless B-10 LEs are sitting at the Post Office, which is a several mile walk from my apartment.

At least I won't be gone on business, or in the office tomorrow. I think I'll wake up nice and early, get a cup of coffee and pick up the blades I've so anxiously been waiting for.

I love Res-C on big blades, and I love satin INFI. What could be better?

Congrats to all that got theirs this week!! I've been waiting to get a hold of these beauts for a while. They are sure to be instant classics!

I'll make sure to post many pictures once they are in hand.

ETA: It certainly is an instant classic!! Fast, agile, light, sharp, comfortable - everything I thought it would be. I think this knife will be perfection for camping/outdoor adventures where you'll be covering a lot of ground and expending a lot of energy. I'd like to get a Kydex dropleg w/ legstrap, exactly like my Rainwalker DF & NMSFNO sheaths, piggyback one of my shorter INFI blades and add a pouch with some basic survival gear. That sounds like the perfect knife setup to me.

Here are some pics, as promised.

Fresh out of the box (I think the heavy duty plastic netting is a great packaging idea, although I did nick myself taking the choilless out.):

A Few of my Recent 9'-10' Busse & Kin Scores:

Both In Hand:

I want some more BIG Res-C. How about a Basic Khuk, Jerry? (I should be getting another DF in a trade soon, which I'm psyched about. It's a user that belongs to my friend, and the funny part is that he barely uses it and that most of the wear is from me using it. He wants my Junglas. I'd say that's a good trade.):

The Choilless is WAY more awesome than expected. I really cannot decide which I like more:

The edge is thicker than expected, yet they both came RAZOR sharp. (Beef, you are a genius!)

If only I wasn't working 60-80 hrs a week, plus freelancing, I could get out there and try them out. It'll be a little while before I get to do that. Fondling them will be fun in the meantime.

A big thank you to you as well!!! Lexi and Pokey definitely deserve a thanks. As does the rest of the crew. They all deserve a BIG Thanks for designing, implementing, and getting the B-10 LE into our eager hands! I've been especially excited for this blade for a lot of reasons.

Thanks again!

Have you been able to use it yet? It seems to me like it'll be a great chopper, yet so much more. It's thick enough to be a great chopper, yet thin enough with a FFG, and hopefully razor sharp edge (I'm sure there are many accomplished sharpeners at Busse, but Beef has always done an incredible job IME) to be SO useful for many other purposes: clearing brush; battoning; digging (if necessary); food prep; and other tasks that would normally be done with a shorter knife if ever you are stuck with just one knife for whatever reason.

I've never used a BWM LE because The BWM handles don't work for me, but it seems like it is one of the most versatile large Busses and is sought after by many. I think the B-10 LE will carry the same appeal as the BWM LE does for sure.

same thing happened to me once. but luckily saw the dude walking up the street and called him back for the package. lately the new guy has been pretty good. last shipment he actually hustled to get it here before i left for work.

ARGGG %%$#@ post office!! I tracked mine to the post office which show's it's out for delivery which sounds good, if it were not delivered to a post office 3 hour's away from my home. It will be re-routed this evening and MAY BE here tomorrow. I don't have any fingernails left @#$%%^ post office!!!

This happens everytime I get a big package, or one that requires signature. I should be moving soon, either to a condo or an apartment with a front desk attendant who will sign for my packages. I miss having that luxury.

Oh and by the way, I have complained multiple times to USPS and I've spoken to the mail lady who usually delivers my large packages. It made no difference.

I'm going to leave work early today to go get them :D.

Super X and TJC, I feel your pain! You get what you pay for with USPS unfortunately.

Congratulations to all you lucky Hogs that received yours; looks like it's next week for me. But at least we know that they are on their way! Thanks again to the entire Busse crew!!!;):thumbup:

Eh, they need a good work out now and then, it is good for em' :D

I left work early to pick mine up. These blades are amazing!

I'm glad I went for one of each. I wasn't hesitant about going choilless, but it is SO awesome. I wish I didn't have to leave right now.

I could shave my face with these thanks to BEEF!!
