B- B - B - Byrd is the word!

I got mine about a year ago for around $17 I think. I just happened to stumble on an amazon seller at that price and it was back to around $22 or so the next day. I haven't carried it lately because I've gotten a decent amount of knives in the last few months but its probably my most carried knife in the last year. The FRN did feel a little cheap and I could see where it was cast on the inside of the scales but functionally it is great. The way it is laid out really grips your hand well. The grind is nice because it is a little wider it makes it easier to sharpen. I took it apart and polished the pivot and oiled it and now its super smooth. I was a real bitch to put back together though. I never did end up getting that last screw in, but it stays together just fine. It really is a great knife for the money.

I didn't have any problems, like visible cast lines with mine out of the box, but the quality probably differs slightly from knife to knife.
