Flix, thanks for the offer. Two issues that come out of your proposal are the need to take several forms of payment and shipping. If someone fronts the money for the patches, the person needs to take all forms of payment. Second, we probably want to keep shipping cost as simple as possible. What I mean is that I would prefer if everyone could clearly see and distinguish between how much they are paying for the patches and how much they are paying for shipping. That keeps everything in the clear. I'm sure no one would object to a little compensation to the person doing all the mailing. But in my opinion, even that should be clearly defined.

For those of you asking for an address to send payment, please be patient. No one can make a payment until we finish taking orders and know the final price per patch per design. That gives us a little time to find someone to front the money. If not, me or someone else can receive the payments, buy the patches and mail them.

By the way, the orders till now are:
Design # 4 – 38
Mod. Design #2 – 13
3-Color # 1 – 55
3-Color # 2 – 9
Guy on Split – 7
2-Color # 1 – 1
2-Color # 2 – 2

Yeah, I thought that there might be some out there who would be wanting to pay by check or money order. Just so there is no confusion, I was not looking to make a profit on processing these orders. I had no part in comming up with the idea, the designs, or securing permission.

I was't sure if what I suggested would help or not, but since I have a site with a shopping cart, can take credit cards, and hit the post office twice a day I thought I'd at least make the offer. I've been thinking something like this might facillitate group buys and the like, but perhaps not.

Before I forget - Put me down for 2 of the 3-Color #1!

yup, I'd like one patch of design number 4, the green/white bfws crossed one. Personally, I agree that whoever's doing the work should get something. Whenever you get a payment address, mine will be on the way - no rush

Flix, My comment on compensation was not directed at you. It is simply a fact that whomever does the mailing for all the orders should have the option to receive a little compensation for his contribution, if he so wishes. I don't think anyone would oppose that.

If you can process non-electronic payment forms, and work out price per patch and shipping cost in a way that every one can follow while not negatively affecting your personal business, I would be happy for you to take care of ordering and shipping the patches.

If you could do this, I think it would facilitate group buys for future group projects.

one of #4 provided the order total reaches 50 for it.

Please be patient. I want to get my hands on my patches too, but we still have about a week and a half to take orders. At this rate, it is possible # 4 can get 100 orders (and lower the price per patch considerably).

If we don't get anyone to front the money, I'll set up my paypal account to receive payments, for those who prefer electronic payments.
