This is my new custom made by B.K. Johnson. I believe in givin credit where its due. The knife came out exact to my design. I had lots of questions prior to ordering and Brian was very quick with his responses. Brian's Knives come at an unbelievably fair price for the quality he offers. If you have the chance to own one of Brian's knives or have a custom made dont pass it up. You wont regret it.
 
Pardon my ignorance, but what goes inside the external sheath pouch? (fire steel, sharpening stone)
 
if you want info about the steel and forging info you can get all that from Brians website. He has a section where he walks through the entire forging process. Its heat treated O1 tool steel. Holds and takes an edge well. Needs to be oiled from time to time but thats a fair trade for better edge retention. Its .25 in thick and a foot long. Weight is around 1 lb i believe. BTW the pouch is made to hold my flint OR my stone they are the same size
