Preferably in the financial district or thereabouts. I'm flying out for the weekend and don't want to have to check any baggage, so I figured I'd pick up a cheepie spyderco or some such when I landed, mail it home on monday. Any advice?

You would think so, wouldn't you? :)

Ended up going to Tent & Trails and picking up a leatherman Squirt S4. Well made little tool.

First of all, I include whatever I please. This thread dates from three years ago. We had gone through the question even before that and worked up a list, which I repost when someone asks. I have added a few to the original list. Anyone else is welcome to add to the thread.

Second, as of recent actions by the Manhattan DA's office, there might not be much in the way of knife sales there just now, until the impact settles in. See http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=750119
