and this stuff is has fiber glass in it and he did not recomend it for knife handles.
 
You got better results than I did Laurence. I got some brainless woman who knew nothing and wanted to know less. I did get the number for a distributor here who priced it for me. $550.00+ a sheet.:eek: The good news is the factory had 72 sheets in stock:rolleyes:
 
If it's a 4 x 8 sheet, I figure you can get 9 pairs out of a square foot, cutting them 1 1/2 x 5 inch slabs. 9 x 32 square ft. = 288 / $550.00 = $1.91. But who wants 288 pairs of this material.:eek:
